Blogging 101 Day Thirteen

The challenge today is to pick a blogging event and participate in the next round. These events can be found at dailypost.wordpress.com/ and it would seem Thursday is the day for the weekly photo challenge. The challenge this week is ‘Beneath Your Feet’ where we are challenged to look down at the world beneath our feet.

Looking through my photographs the one that shouts out to me is the one of the pebbles on Brighton Beach.

Brighton Beach

Growing up within a stones throw of the beach meant I learnt early on how to walk barefoot on the pebbles! Looking at this photo brings back the salty smell of the sea, the feeling of the warmth of the sun on my face, sounds of the tide as it swished in and out, seeing families enjoying days out with picnics, the taste of ice creams and most of all – the feeling of walking on pebbles.
